Don Julio’s began as a lifelong dream of the Rodriguez-Nambo family. In the early 1970s, Julio & Esther Rodriguez migrated from Mexico to Tampa Bay, bringing with them a love for tradition and authentic flavors. After the passing of her husband, Doña Esther used her cooking talents to support her children and share her heritage, inspiring the vision for the restaurant.
